The cabin is going to move a few hundred meters to the top of a field. The goal is to get it there in one piece, also the cabin doesn't have any wheels...

In order to make room for the temporary skid road, some trees had to be removed. After they were felled and skidded out of the way we could attempt the family tradition of cabin sliding. With 2 wooden skis under foot the cabin glides smoothly across fields and forests.

But not really... It was actually pretty challenging.
