Engelmann Spruce, most well known for its excellent tone quality, is an amazingly strong, light and flexible wood and has exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio. It can also showcase beautiful colour and characteristics that could give your guitar a unique look and feel.

This unique top has a very rare burl growth mixed with an extremely unique colour pattern along the centre joint contrasted with a creamier colour across.. The top has excellent silk and cross grain flex paired with medium grain. The large grain ripple feature is due to the burl growth. We are calling it dragon’s claw.
