Engelmann Spruce, most well known for its excellent tone quality, is an amazingly strong, light and flexible wood and has exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio. It can also showcase beautiful colour and characteristics that could give your guitar a unique look and feel.

This unique top has a very rare burl growth mixed with a touch of pink colour pattern and slightly bulging tight grain. The top has excellent silk and cross grain flex. The large bear claw like feature is due to the burl growth. We are calling it dragon’s claw.

There is a minor pitch pocket that falls within the dreadnought pattern which is reflected in the price. However, an OM pattern is just on the edge of the pocket and an Parlour pattern excludes it.
