We process more instrument billets out of dry logs and begin forging a new froe after ours breaks.

As we are breaking apart logs in near minus 30 C temperatures the metal froe becomes brittle and ends up breaking. So to I grab a chunk of steel and get to work forging a new one, with some design changes as well. (part 1)
